The Inner Circle of Advocates: What It Means
Attorneys Kurt Arnold and Jason Itkin have achieved some truly great things in their relatively young careers, both for individual plaintiffs and for the field of law as a whole. They have facilitated life-changing and record-breaking verdicts and settlements for injured victims, which help improve safety conditions all over the U.S. Over 100 of their settlements have settled for $1 million or more. However, few accolades demonstrate Kurt and Jason’s mastery of trial law like their membership in The Inner Circle of Advocates.
The History of the Inner Circle
Becoming a member of The Inner Circle of Advocates is an accomplishment at any age, but Kurt Arnold and Jason Itkin both managed to meet their rigorous standards at an unusually young age. To do that, our firm’s founders achieved what few lawyers accomplish in their entire lives, consistently winning million-dollar verdicts for their clients.
The Inner Circle of Advocates is an organization founded in 1972 by a Tucson trial attorney named Richard Grand. His purpose was to bring together the 50 best plaintiff trial lawyers in the United States, allowing them to trade skills and wisdom and improve the quality of trial law as a whole. The organization is truly exclusive, with invitation-only membership. As of today, membership represents the 100 best trial lawyers in the nation, and our firm is led by two of them.
The standards for The Inner Circle are as follows:
- The most recent large verdict must be less than 5 years old
- Must have either 3 verdicts in excess of $1 million or 1 verdict in excess of $10 million
- Member must have completed a significant amount of trial cases, usually more than 50
What Membership Symbolizes
More than another award, Inner Circle membership is a marker of devotion to the good of the United States. The vision of the founder of The Inner Circle of Advocates was to improve the lives of everyday Americans through every verdict won on behalf of injury victims. Much like this organization, Arnold & Itkin is also devoted to improving the lives and safety of our clients through our work. Every large verdict is a message to insurance companies and large corporations that people’s lives are valuable, and they will be held accountable.
