Representing Mother of 2 After Attempted Hit & Run
Attorney Claire Schindler of Arnold & Itkin has filed suit in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, on behalf of a mother of two who was injured in a collision with a commercial truck.
The incident occurred when our client was at a stop sign. The truck crashed into the back of her vehicle, and the driver then attempted to flee the scene, crashing into our client’s vehicle a second time. Due to the reckless and inattentive behavior of the truck driver, our client suffered severe injuries to her head, neck, back, and other parts of her body. These have already required extensive, invasive medical treatment.
Leaving the scene of an accident is a crime, and it displays an intent to avoid accountability for a collision. Commercial truck drivers and their employers must be held accountable not only for causing collisions but for their resulting behavior. Our client is now faced with a tough recovery, and we are committed to helping her get the support she needs.
“As a native Louisianan,” said Claire in a statement, “I am always grateful for the opportunity to represent other Louisianans who have been the victims of negligent and reckless commercial drivers on our highways.”
Our Baton Rouge, LA truck accident lawyers look forward to helping our client rebuild and move on.
