Suit Filed Against Daycare Center for Endangering Child

Arnold & Itkin has filed suit against a daycare provider for recklessly endangering a child in their care.

Our client, the child’s parent, dropped his son off with a reasonable expectation that he would be safely looked after while at the daycare center. Unfortunately, mere hours after dropping him off, he received a call that his son had been seriously injured.

The daycare center had placed pieces of plywood in the playground area to cover up holes in the ground. Our client’s son tripped over the plywood while playing under the daycare’s supervision, causing serious breaks in his femur bone.

“Kids are the most vulnerable members of our society. As such, a daycare center needs to make sure its premises are safe for children. In this particular instance, this daycare failed to do so. We look forward to holding them accountable for endangering our client’s son,” our attorneys said in a statement.
