Case Filed for Amazon Worker Injured In Truck Unloading Accident

Attorney Trent Shelton of Arnold & Itkin recently filed suit against Amazon on behalf of a worker who was injured when they were struck by a falling box when unloading a truck.

The box was knocked from high in the air by a fellow employee, who was improperly trained by Amazon. This is one of many examples why the company’s profit-driven decisions are dangerous; the safety of Amazon’s employees should always be put before the company’s bottom line.

Had the employee been properly trained on safety procedures in order to do their job correctly, this incident could have been prevented. Ensuring that all employees receive adequate training is a fundamental aspect of corporate responsibility.

We look forward to holding Amazon responsible for their negligent training practices and reminding the company that putting its bottom line over the safety of its workers will always be more expensive than doing the right thing. Our work injury attorneys filed this suit in Fort Bend County, Texas.
