Case Filed For Boater Injured in BWI Boat Accident
Maritime attorneys Trent Shelton and Kurt Arnold have filed a lawsuit on behalf of a recreational boater who suffered injuries when a boat struck them on Lyndon B. Johnson Lake in Llano County, Texas.
The boat was negligently entrusted to a drunk and reckless driver who did not wear the proper safety equipment. To make matters worse, the captain’s chair of the boat was defective, causing the already-drunk driver to fall out of the vessel. With no driver at the helm, the out-of-control boat ramped off another boat before landing on our client.
No matter the vehicle a person is driving, whether it’s a car, truck, or boat, safe operation is crucial. Just like driving while intoxicated (DWI), boating while intoxicated (BWI) is not only dangerous for everyone on the water but also against the law.
Our boat accident lawyers are investigating this incident; we look forward to earning our client the compensation they deserve for their injuries and holding the intoxicated boater responsible for their dangerous driving.
