Representing Contractor Injured at a Big-Box Store

Led by attorney Sam Long, Arnold & Itkin has filed a lawsuit on behalf of an injured contractor who was hurt while working at a major big-box store.

The store had failed to provide our client with fall protection, which led to the contractor sustaining significant injuries in an on-the-job accident. These unsafe working conditions were clear OSHA violations.

Big-box stores owe it to their employees, as well as any outside contractors they hire, to provide adequate fall protection when these employees are expected to work from heights. Per OSHA, this mandated fall protection can include providing guard rails and toe-boards for elevated platforms, floors, runways, dangerous equipment, and more. Unfortunately, fall protection violations cause some of the most life-threatening and fatal accidents in the American workplace.

Our work injury lawyers are committed to fighting for the justice and compensation our client deserves for the harm they have suffered, and to force this big-box store to take its employees’ safety more seriously.
