I know there’s a lot of questions that are probably running through your mind. Question #1 is how is that we can get the very best medical care possible? Because, typically, the company has an incentive not to allow you to go get medical treatment. A lot of times, the company will ask you to sign a waiver in exchange for you getting the best medical care.
But that’s not the law. It’s not either or. You’re entitled to the best medical care, period.
One of the things that we focus on, that we want to make sure of, is that our clients get the very best medical care possible. Because what happens in these cases, we see it time and again from these companies, is they will try to force our clients to go to what is called a company doctor. The reason they call them a company doctor is because they only care about what’s in the best interest of the company. They’re not interested in making you better. They’re not interested in getting you back to work. They’re just interested in saving the company money. We don’t want you to see a doctor that’s looking out for the company. We want you to see a doctor that is looking out for you.
